Objectives

  • Provide training to relevant national authorities on contingency planning
  • Test the National Oil Spill Contingency Plan (NOSCP) of Benin through a table top exercise
  • Initiate amendments to the NOSCP on the basis of lessons learnt from the exercice as well as from previous workshops and exercices that the Beninese authorities have undertaken in 2018
  • Develop recommendations to improve the NOSCP of Benin
