Following Rupert Bravery's departure from the Project, we are glad to introduce the new GI WACAF Industry Chair: Anatole Cramer
During our first Steering Committee meeting of 2021, all members warmly thanked Rupert Bravery from Exxon Mobil for his long involvement in the GI WACAF Project: as Industry Vice-Chair and Chair, Rupert Bravery provided continuous guidance and support to the Project during 6 years, thus participating to its development and major achievements.
Following Rupert Bravery's departure, Anatole Cramer was elected by the Steering Committee of the Project as the new Industry Chair. As an Oil Spill Response Specialist with Total, he has been working in the fields of environmental governance, and emergency preparedness and response in the oil and gas industry for 15 years, with a background in environmental studies. He became a GI WACAF Steering Committee member in 2016 and was elected Vice-President in 2020. He attended the two last Regional Conferences in Côte d’Ivoire in 2017 and South Africa in 2019. He has shown a long-lasting commitment towards the GI WACAF Project, and was supported by all its members. We are looking forward to working with him on new and exciting projects!
