Objectives
National authorities from Sierra Leone expressed their wish to update the National Oil Spill Contingency Plan (last version from 2017) and asked the GI WACAF to review the actual NOSCP and the dispersant use policy and to provide any comments and inputs that could help to update and improve the documents.
The overall objective of the activity is to assist Sierra Leone in updating its NOSCP. The specific objectives are:
- Provide an evaluation of the existing documents (NOSCP and dispersant use policy) using the evaluation grid provided by the GI WACAF,
- Provide general and specific comments on the existing documents
- Provide the designated National team with overview of the review during a teleconference and discuss the main findings and recommendations in order to update the NOSCP.
